Many of my servant leadership and professional experiences have doubled as diversity experiences. These experiences have shaped me and set the stage for the groups of students I hope to most influence through education.
MREC- Dorothy Moses Elementary School and Mary Stark Elementary School
Through this experience I have served children ages 5-12. During my time spent at both of these schools I have had the pleasure of working with children of many ethnicities, socioeconomic backgrounds, religious, and several cultural backgrounds.

Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park
I had the opportunity to collaborate with a team of fellow peers to plan and teach during a field trip experience for students from a Light of Christ Catholic School here in Bismarck. Through this project I gained a deeper appreciation for the Native American culture.

Red Ribbon Campaign
I had the opportunity to volunteer at the Red Ribbon Carnival this year. Through this experience I was able to assist students of different backgrounds with the activities at the carnival. I also was able to talk with the parents for surveys.

Diversity drives innovation-when we limit who can contribute, we in turn limit what problems we can solve.
